Death grip on a treadmill… something you should never really see but is suprisingly common. I don’t really understand the thought process. The idea that walking on a treadmill while holding on for dear life instead of swinging those appendages makes no sense to me. I saw a gentleman today with the treadmill on the highest incline setting and yet they were holding onto the top edge of the treadmill display and leaning back. I would have to say that the benefit that could have been had has now decreased at least 50 %. It would compare to going skating yet having someone pull you along. I don’t know why they would even bother going to the gym. Doing silly things like that just wastes time and effort. Just go for a walk outside, and stop cheating yourself.
